Amazon needs 100 new employees for logistics centre in southern Spain
Amazon has announced the availability of 100 job openings at its newly expanded logistics centre in Escúzar, located in the province of Granada, Andalucía. The online retail giant is offering both part-time and full-time positions, with hiring conducted through the temporary employment agency ETT Manpower.
This hiring drive is part of their ongoing expansion in the region. The positions available primarily involve warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading goods, receiving incoming packages, entering data into computer systems, and performing quality control checks.
While the employment contracts will be managed by ETT Manpower and not directly with Amazon, the recruited staff will enjoy the same pay and working conditions as other Amazon employees. Wages range from €9.80 to €12.25 per hour, depending on the shift, translating to a gross monthly salary of approximately €1,500 to €1,700.
To be considered for these roles, applicants must meet certain criteria, including being of legal working age and possessing their own transportation to commute to the workplace. Flexibility is also key, as employees must be available to work morning, afternoon, or night shifts, seven days a week. While prior experience is not mandatory, it will be considered an advantage.
This job opportunity marks a significant employment boost for the region, offering a chance to work for one of the world's largest companies.
