A new storm could leave rain in the Costa Del Sol this weekend
Rain is expected to make an appearance again this weekend in Malaga, this time because of a new storm that, according to meteorologists, is unusual. As a result, the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has set the possibility of rain for today (Friday) at 65%, although only until midday.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, Saturday, the probability of water falling to alleviate the drought increases to 75%. It will be, predictably, until 12:00pm again, when the sun will come out.
However, on Sunday, the percentage drops to 20% but AEMET does expect a drop in minimum temperatures to 21 degrees, compared to the 25°C that is expected for tonight. Highs will continue to range between 27°C and 28°C until Tuesday when thermometers could touch 30°C.
Although the weather will remain unstable at the start of next week, the chance of rain will barely exceed 15%.
How will the storm affect Spain?
The storm that took place last weekend after the passage of the DANA left serious damage throughout the country. Five people died and there was numerous material damage caused by the massive downpour of water that fell in just a few hours.
Meteorologists say that this climatic storm has not come to an end and that Spain may suffer the so-called Fujiwhara effect. The Dana that recently left the country appears to be interacting with Hurricane Franklin, which formed in the Caribbean in late August. This is an unusual reaction in this country but that will undoubtedly have direct consequences in the Iberian Peninsula, according to the Meteored website.
