Driver with no licence caught doing 232km/h on toll motorway in Malaga
The driver of a car has been arrested after being clocked at 232km/h in a 120km/h zone on the AP-46 toll motorway in Almogía, just north of Malaga.
The Guardia Civil and a trafico helicopter tracked the vehicle, which was travelling on the Granada-bound carriageway on the Las Pedrizas motorway before it eventually stopped in Benalmádena.
After detaining the driver, he was identified as a 27-year-old Bulgarian male with no driving licence, who has a long police record.
He is being charged with two offences against road safety, one for speeding and the other for not having a driving licence. The case will be heard in the Malaga magistrate's court.
