Robber arrested after burning hotel receptionist with a blowtorch in Fuengirola
The National Police have arrested a man who is accused of threatening a receptionist with a blowtorch, "which emitted a considerably large flame", at a hotel in Fuengirola on the Costa Del Sol, demanding money from the cash drawer in an incident that took place on August 5th.
When the receptionist refused, a struggle ensued between the pair, with the receptionist sustaining mild burns to the chin and chest. The robber also punched and kicked the victim and then grabbed some cash before fleeing the scene, which turned out to be less than 50 euros.
