The street with the most expensive homes in the Costa Blanca is in Alicante
The most luxurious streets in Spain to buy homes have been highlighted in a new study carried out by the Idealista real estate portal. The top spot in the Valencian Community is occupied by a street in the Alicante town of Benitatxell called Calle Jazmines, where the owners ask for an average of 2,637,333 euros for their homes.
It is one of the eight regions in Spain that exceed an average of a million euros for properties in one of its streets or urbanizations, although overall it occupies fifth position on this list. The top three on this exclusive list, are: Malaga (€10,763,937), Madrid (€6,928,958), and the Balearic Islands (€5,152,928).
If looked at more closely, the province of Malaga registers the most expensive streets in the country, which exceed seven million per property on average. The most expensive street in Spain is located in the Coto de Zagaleta urbanization, in Benahavís, where the average is 10.7 million euros. This is followed by two streets in Marbella, Calle Mozart (€7,940,375) and Calle Osa Menor 2g (€7,175,888).
Madrid is another of the regions with the most exclusive streets. Two neighborhoods complete the list of the five most luxurious in Spain, one is Moraleja (Alcobendas) with an average of €6,928,958 on Camino de la Fuente, and the other is Pozuelo de Alarcón, on Paseo de los Lagos (€6,172,508).
The Valencian Community is the region with the highest urban housing purchase and sale rate in relation to its inhabitants. In addition, it is the only place where the number of operations has not decreased compared to last year. In June, there were 14,605 home acquisition transactions, which is 327 more than a year ago, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics (INE)
